She Walks Wild
Learning to explore more and worry less.
Welcome to She Walks Wild
It all started with having the same conversation over and over again.
With people sharing: "I'd love to do that... but I wouldn't go on my own."
I think most of us have talked ourselves out of doing something we'd really love to do.
We tell ourselves we'll do it one day when we've got more confidence. More time. More money. Or when someone finally agrees to come with us.
But what if one day became today?
I'm not sharing this because I've got it all figured out. I really haven't.
But this summer, I've decided to stop waiting.
I've decided to say yes to more adventures around Scotland. More walks. More road trips. More places I've never been before. More moments that remind me there's a whole country out there waiting to be explored.
When I say adventure, I don't mean climbing Munros or completing epic hikes.
Sometimes it's driving to a beach you've never visited.
Sometimes it's wandering through a woodland after work.
Sometimes it's finally booking that weekend away you've been talking about for years.
Sometimes it's taking the long way home just to see where it leads.
Sometimes it's simply deciding to go.
That's what She Walks Wild is about.
It's not about doing the biggest adventures or travelling the furthest.
It's about saying yes to the little ones.
And if our journey will encourage just one person to head somewhere new, stop waiting for "one day", or see a little more of Scotland, then it'll have been worth it.

Exploring Scotland with Dogs
Dogs have always been part of my adventures, and they always will be.
For more than ten years, I've worked professionally with sensitive and reactive dogs and the people who love them. It's taught me that confidence grows through experience—for dogs and for people.
Vinnie and Kelty will be joining me on many of these adventures, and I'll be sharing honest reviews of the places we visit.
Not just whether somewhere is beautiful, but what it's actually like when you're exploring with a dog.
I'll tell you the things I'd want to know before setting off myself. Whether a walk is likely to be busy, whether there are wide open spaces or narrow paths, if there's livestock nearby, how easy parking is, and anything else that might make the day a little easier.
If you happen to share your life with a sensitive or reactive dog, I'll also let you know whether I think a place is likely to suit dogs who need a bit more space.
Travelling somewhere new can feel daunting when you don't know what to expect.
Sometimes it's not the walk that's worrying—it's not knowing what you're walking into.

Walking for a Cause
Dogs have changed my life in more ways than I can count.
Vinnie came into my life through German Shepherd Rescue Scotland, and I honestly can't imagine life without him.
Throughout She Walks Wild, I'll be raising money and awareness to support the incredible work they do, because every dog deserves the chance to find the people they're meant to be with.

Come Along
Maybe this summer you'll discover somewhere you've never been before.
Maybe you'll finally plan that trip you've been talking about for years.
Maybe you'll find a quiet corner of Scotland that becomes one of your favourite places.
Or maybe you'll simply enjoy following along while Vinnie, Kelty and I work out where we're heading next.
Whatever brings you here, I'm really glad you found us.
You will find us on all social media platforms, and I hope our adventures will inspire a few of your own because adventure isn't always about climbing mountains or walking the furthest. It's about saying yes and taking the first step.
